Jeannie Griffith Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sisco Funeral Chapel - Springdale on Mar. 5, 2026.
Jeannie Faye Griffith, 67, of Springdale, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Born on March 11, 1958, in Springdale, Arkansas, Jeannie was the beloved daughter of Clifford Lee Bowers and Luna Mae (Ball) Bowers. She lived her entire life in the community she loved, forming lifelong friendships and dedicating herself to her family.

Jeannie was primarily a homemaker, a role she embraced with pride and devotion. She was also a Certified Nursing Assistant and had a natural gift for caring for others. She lovingly and tirelessly cared for her mother until her passing, exemplifying her selfless and nurturing spirit.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures-bird watching from her window, tending to her plants, expressing herself through painting, cooking for others, and, most of all, spending treasured time with her family and friends. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and welcome to all who entered.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Aaron Bowers.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Key; her brothers, Toney Bowers and Wayne Bowers; her daughters, Mary Fricke (Kent) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Jennifer Olcott (Rick) of Springdale; her two beloved grandchildren, Kaden and Tyler; and her lifelong friend Billy "David" Barron. She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members who will miss her deeply and cherish her memory always.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jeannie's life on Saturday, March 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.

Jeannie's kindness, gentle heart, and unwavering love for her family will live on in all who knew her.
