Jeci Mora Ramos

Jeci Mora Ramos, Jr., age 86, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Missouri Veteran's Home, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. He was born October 30, 1938, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Jeci Mora and Olivia (Pena) Ramos, Sr.
Jeci was a 1957 graduate of Lawton High School in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and after serving his country in the Air Force he worked in Hollywood as an extra, bodyguard and various other jobs and was a Hearing Aid Consultant. He enjoyed watching television, going to the movies, visiting with people he just met, and he was involved with friends of Bill. Anyone that needed help he was there. He had a contagious smile and could always make you laugh. Jeci loved and was very proud of his daughters. He was of the Catholic Faith.
On October 17, 1998, he married Therese Joan Kristek, in Springfield, Missouri.
Jeci is survived by his wife of 26 years, Therese; two daughters, Vicki Ramos and Dawn Bourland of Weatherford, Texas and Terri Smith and Tom Baker of Weatherford, Texas; three grandchildren, Ryan (Kirsti) Smith of Benbrook, Texas, John (Jephrie) Smith, Jr. of Brock, Texas and Brandon (Lindsey) Smith of Weatherford, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, Kimber, Jake, Ella, Ashlynn, Daryn, John, David and Lucy; two brothers, Rudy (Kathy) Ramos of Newbury Park, California and Steven Ramos of Lake Ozark, Missouri.
Jeci was preceded in death by his parents, Jeci and Olivia and two sisters, Debbie Ramos and Joyce "Cookie" McCollister.
A visitation under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, with rosary from 2:00-2:30 p.m. follow by a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, in Aurora. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Aurora.
