Jeddy Barrett Brown, 77, of Evergreen, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. She was born in Dunklin County, Missouri on June 9, 1947, to the late Sylvester Barrett and Jessie Ziy Barrrett. She was also preceded by her daughter, Charlotte Ammons and brother, Barry Barrett.
Jeddy leaves behind her beloved husband of 59 years, Russell Brown; daughters: Laurie Goodman and Jannette Brown; brothers: Danny Ray Barrett and Johnie Mack Barrett; grandchildren: Kenneth Aaron Smith (Candice), Jessie Walker; great-grandchildren: Ryleigh, Xander, Gemma, Aubrey and Emmett.
Jeddy was a very proud mother and grandmother who loved her family immensely. Her love was also shared with all animals. Her enjoyment to shop was one of her favorite activities. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, July 9th in the Lennons Crossroads Sanctuary. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, July 10th at Lennons Crossroads Church with Reverend Fred Senter officiating service. Burial will follow in the Kelly Cemetery off of Old Boardman Road in Bladenboro.
