Jeff Mantey, age 64, passed away on February 28, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton, after a well fought battle with small cell lung cancer. Jeff was a loving, caring husband, father and grandfather. He went out of his way to help others in need. He loved fishing, boating and was a talented golfer until his health conditions prevented him from participating in these activities. He also had a gift for cooking. He worked at Dayton Tool and Die and International Fine Blanking.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah; children: Amber Phillips, Joshua Phillips (Trese'), and Jessica Phillips; grandchildren: Keaton, Alexus, Jackson, Rylynn, Taylor, Brooklyn, Presley, and Elissa; sister-in-law, Stephanie Browning and mother-in-law, Ann Browning; Brothers, Steven Mantey and David Mantey (Claudia); sister Jackie Marshall (dec. Keith); and niece, Ashley Adams (Nathan).
To Celebrate Jeff's life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Celebrant Father Andrew Smith. Following the services, Jeff will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
