Jeffery Scott Bishop

Jeffery Scott Bishop, age 63, of Mauk, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2026. He was born on May 16, 1962.

Jeffery spent his life rooted in Columbus, Georgia then eventually moved to Mauk, Georgia. He was a loving father who cared for his daughters deeply and took great pride in his family. Jeffery loved to mud ride and race go-karts and doom buggies with his brothers and family. He was an avid NASCAR fan and proudly cheered for his favorite college football team the Georgia Bulldogs. He also had a strong love for jewelry, music, and dancing, enjoying life with rhythm and energy.

Family and friends will always remember his playful spirit, especially the way he would call out "Jingaling, Jingaling" whenever he would jingle the change in his pocket, a small moment that brought smiles and laughter to those around him.

He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Bishop; his daughters, Amber Myers (Jason Myers) and Cassidy Bishop (Osten Joiner) and his siblings, Ricky Bishop, Mark Bishop, Ronnie Bishop and Susan Batastini and three wonderful grandchildren Kyndal, Klayten and Kysyn.

He is also proceeded in death by his father Ronald Kimble Bishop, his grandparents Harry Bishop, Earlene Bishop, Lemuel Pitts, and Virgina Pitts.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Jeffery on March 28, 2026 at 11:30 at the Upatoi Baptist Church, located at 13400 Macon Road, Upatoi, Georgia 31829.
