Jeffery Kent Carter, known affectionately as Jeff, was born on September 12, 1957, in Paris, Missouri. On July 16, 2025, at the age of 67, Jeff crossed over into eternal peace in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Jeff was not only a loving partner but also a devoted brother, dedicated father, and a treasured friend. He shared his life with his Forever Partner, Debbie, who stood by his side through thick and thin, weaving a tapestry of love that will never fade. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, full of laughter, support, and adventures.

Spending  time and talking to his sister, Janice Adesiji, (Babatunde)  brought him immense joy, and he considered himself lucky to have such a strong family connection. As a father, Jeff embraced every moment he spent with daughter, Nicole Isreal, and her loving husband, Lewis. Their shared experiences were woven with laughter, patience, and love—a true reflection of the family values he held dear.

In addition to his immediate family, Jeff was surrounded by a large circle of what he considered as in-laws, including mom Donna, and sisters-in-law Monica and Mary (Ken) along with brothers Scott (Diana), Brian (Shannon), Jason (Michelle), and Daniel. Each one brought unique colors to the tapestry of his life, and he found deep joy in being part of such a generous and loving family.

Jeff's heart extended to a multitude of nieces and nephews on both sides who loved him. He took pride in their achievements, often being a proud cheerleader, nurturing their dreams and aspirations with encouragement and love.

While Jeff cherished his family deeply, he also mourned the loss of those who have departed from this life. His mother, Madeline, and grandmother, Susie, along with his brother and sister, Anthony and Beverly, held a significant place in his heart. He carried their memories with him, honoring their love and the lessons they taught throughout his life. Jeff also remembered in-laws Art and Lisa. and he always kept alive the cherished memory of his special big brother, Mike Ritzen.

As we remember Jeff, we celebrate the many moments filled with laughter, joyful gatherings, and heartfelt connections. His spirit lives on in those who were blessed to know him, and his legacy of love will resonate through the lives of his family and friends. While he may no longer walk among us, the warmth of his love and the memories we hold dear will forever light our paths.
