Jeffery Len Gabbert

Jeffery Len Gabbert, age 70, resided in Bergheim, Kendall County, Texas. Jeff peacefully passed away with family at his side on February 17, 2026, at ABODE Contemplative Care after a courageous battle with cancer.

Jeff faithfully served for 9 years in the United States Air Force and went on to join the United States Postal Service. Once retired, he immersed himself in family time and with friends, sharing and enjoying passions and hobbies; he was an avid deer hunter, artist, woodworker, and musician. He attended and was very involved in Kerrville Folk Fest and Woodzie music fest.

Born on December 30, 1955, at Langley AFB, Hampton, Virginia, to the late CMSgt James Roy Gabbert and Helen ‘Polly’ Herrington Gabbert. He will forever be remembered for being a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He is predeceased by his parents, Jim and Polly; uncle Patrick Gabbert, sister-in-law Marie Iacovino; brothers at heart, Arte Muñoz, and Randall Westlund. His loyal furry companion Orion crossed the Rainbow Bridge just prior to his journey.

He is survived by his very loving wife of 48 years, Judy Ann Gabbert; son, Jeffery James Gabbert (JJ), Jessica Garza, and daughter, Juliana Gabbert. Grandchildren: Sterling Ann Clark-Gabbert, Jackson Dean Gabbert, and Princess Ailani Skye Gabbert. Sister, Jane Garrison; brothers-in-law, Robert and David Iacovino, as well as brothers at heart, Rick Rodriguez, and David Long. Family: Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Buffalo, NY, Rising Sun, MD, Sandersville, MS, Minneapolis, MN, San Antonio, Houston, Edna, TX, and Niceville, FL.
