Jeffery Dean “Jeff” Lusby, 65, of Moultrie passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 18, 2025, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Born January 26, 1960, in Reed City, MI. Mr. Lusby was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to baseball and football. He loved cheering for his favorite teams, the Colquitt County Packers, Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Georgia Bulldogs. He also enjoyed spending time with his special pet Vannah.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lusby.
Mr. Lusby is survived by his parents, Mary Sue Garner of Moultrie and Ronald Lusby of Leroy MI; son Dereck Lusby of Evansville, IN; brothers, Ross Lusby of Leroy MI, Greg Lusby and wife Kim of Strasburg, MO, Bret Lusby and wife Angela of Excelsior Springs, MO, John Morrell and Darrell Morrell and wife Faith, both of Moultrie. Jeff loved his nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
