Jeffery “Jeff” Allen Marlow, 40, of Mooreland, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 7, 1985, to Linda (Sutton) Marlow and the late Freddie Marlow Jr.

Jeff began his working career at Captain D's restaurant and later joined Grede in New Castle at the young age of 18. Over the span of more than two decades, Jeff poured his heart and soul into his work, demonstrating an unwavering dedication that mirrored his larger-than-life personality.

Jeff was a product of New Castle Chrysler Schools and had a great sense of humor. He was known for his playful antics, often speaking in funny voices that could light up a room. Jeff was not just a jokester; he was a gentle soul who loved to help others, lending a hand wherever he could, and leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those around him.

In his teenage years, Jeff shared a special bond with his brothers Fred and Josh, as they enjoyed skateboarding together. Throughout his life, he nurtured his artistic side, often found drawing or singing, expressing his creativity in ways that captivated those who had the pleasure of witnessing it.

Racing at Mt. Lawn in New Castle became one of Jeff’s greatest passions. From 2017 to 2022, he not only participated but thrived, winning the racing championship in his very first year—a testament to his determination and skill. Jeff's innate ability to build race cars showcased his love for mechanics. He could build a full race car, roll cage and all, in 24 hours.

Beyond racing, Jeff cherished the open roads and the thrill of riding motorcycles, often spending time working on them as well. His love for fishing was another way he connected with nature and spent leisurely days with friends and family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Trish Marlow; sons, Bradley Marlow, Devin Marlow, and Jeffery Marlow Jr; step son, Cody Tinch; mother, Linda Marlow; brothers, Fred (Stephanie) Marlow and Josh Marlow (Jenny Mae); nephews, Kholton Hannah and Kash Hannah; nieces, Courtney Thompson and Makaila Marlow; great niece, Cali White; nephews, Rhett Marlow, Pheonix Marlow, and Finn Marlow; brother-in-law, Ray Hannah; sister-in-law, Shauwna (Steve) Phillips; uncle, Don (Amy) Marlow; cousins, Chelsea Marlow, Anthony Lambert, Tyler Lambert, and Mitchell Long; very close friends, Mike Finney, Andrae Hernandez, and Lisa Stewart; and many other close friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Marlow Jr.; paternal grandparents, Freddie Sr. and RuthAnn Marlow; maternal grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Sutton; sister-in-law, Tess Hannah; aunts, Linda Marlow and Patricia Mathis; and nephew, Darrell Mathis.

Services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Brother Lance Stevens officiating. Cremation will take place at Hinsey Brown Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the funeral home.
