Jeffery Lindsey Snell, 63, of Mathis, TX, passed away on August 20, 2025 in Swinney Switch, TX. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Joseph Snell and Virginia D Jackson on February 16, 1962. Jeff received his education in Mars Hill, Maine, and went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. When Jeff moved to Mathis, TX, he worked as a chef for The Dusty Saddle Saloon and was also known as a talented musician.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Joseph C. Snell, Jr.
He is survived by his brothers, Roger, Rick, Kevin, Gary, and Greg Snell and sister, Kathleen Hedges. Jeff also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
Jeff will be inurned by his parents in Denton, TX, at Roselawn Cemetery on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 2 PM. A memorial service will be held in Sanger, TX, at a later date.
