Jeffery W. "Bill" Stratton

Jeffery Wayne Stratton, age 60, of Menomonie, WI, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

He was born on April 26, 1965, in Menomonie, WI to DuWayne Stratton and Mary Lou (O'Connell) Stratton. Jeff was the oldest of their three children.

At age 17, Jeff began working for Lyn and Geri Wendt on their farm. Over the years, he wore many hats-farmer, milk truck driver, dump truck driver, snowplow operator-and he spent countless hours in the shop repairing anything that needed fixing. Jeff was Lyn's right-hand man; where one was, the other was never far behind. Their constant banter and loyalty reflected a close bond, much like that of a father and son.

Jeff was a generous person, always ready to help anyone who needed a hand. He loved his family dearly and especially cherished time spent together during the holidays. He also captured the hearts of the Wendt family, who have long considered him one of their own.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Richard Stratton; his sister, Michele (Mark) Knapp; nephew, Chad (Marissa) Stratton; and great nieces and nephews. Jeff is also survived by his K-9 buddy, Bill, Lyn Wendt and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie, WI with Celebrant Teresa Pesja officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
