It is with profound grief and heavy hearts that we announce the death of Jeffery Vasser Jr., who passed away from this life unexpectedly on December 7, 2024, following an automobile accident in Del City, Oklahoma. His family and friends are deeply shocked and saddened by this tremendous loss.
Jeffery was born on April 3, 1993 in Escondido, California, and from that moment forward, lit up every room he ever walked into. He never met a stranger and enjoyed a rich social life. He was a loving, caring soul who enjoyed nothing more than spending quality time with the people in his life. His house was the go-to hang out spot, always a hub of warmth, laughter, and good vibes. He loved to cook, and even more, loved to eat! His family always enjoyed it when he made his pineapple bowl, his mango salsa, or even more, BBQ ribs with his famous baked beans. Jeffery was, above all, a wonderful provider and devoted husband and father. No matter what, he always made time for his family. He especially loved spending time with his wife Auna and their four children.
In his free time, Jeffery loved watching anime, particularly his favorite show, One Piece, or playing Assassin's Creed on his PS5. If he wasn't playing a video game or watching one of his shows, you'd likely find him keeping up with LA Chargers football. He also enjoyed dancing, singing karaoke, and traveling with his family any time there was an opportunity. Though there were a multitude of things that made him happy, nothing brought Jeffery more pride and joy than watching his family grow, succeed, and thrive. As we say our goodbyes, let us remember Jeffery Vasser Jr. for his sweet, caring soul, his legendary hugs, the many passions he pursued, and most of all, for the unconditional love he showed to the people in his life. To say he will be deeply missed is an understatement. May he rest in eternal comfort and peace.
He leaves his loving family to cherish his memory, including the love of his life, Adriana "Auna" Vasser, and their four children – Mercedez, Jeffery III, Lyric, and Dario; his parents, mother Patricia Lacey, and father Jeffery Vasser Sr.; two siblings, brother Theodore Cusick, and sister Tyeisha Lacey; along with his aunt, Lakeisha Lacey, and numerous other loving family members and friends. Jeffery is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Lacey, his cousin, Elliott Lamar Walker Jr., and his best friend, Khaelin Irving.
