Jeffrey Allen Andersen, age 72, died Saturday, January 4, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born August 11, 1952 in St. George, Utah to Garner Alfred and Roma Reber Andersen. On October 18, 1975 he married Patricia Elizabeth Busick in the Washington DC LDS Temple for time and all eternity. 

Jeff lived most of his life in Overton, NV. He served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Eastern States Mission from 1972-1974. He worked as a technician/researcher at the University of Nevada Reno Cooperative Extension working in water conservation for 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, creating oil pastel artwork, listening to music and spending time with his family. He had a crazy sense of humor and he could entertain you for hours with his jokes and his knowledge on a variety of topics. He had a strong testimony and loved his Savior and was constantly giving service to others. 

Survivors include his wife, Patricia of Overton, NV; two daughters: Katie (Jason) Lein of Las Vegas; Cassie (Michael) Cammack of Logandale, NV; six grandchildren: Quinn, Jayden, Ethan, Kailah, Asher and Kegan; three brothers: Kim (Shauna) of MS; Stanely and Weston (Kim) both of Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebekka Marie (Tyler) Barnum; two sisters, JoEllen Hone and Shanalee Simper. 

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Overton Chapel, 226 W. Thomas Street, Overton, NV. Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2025 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Overton Chapel and again from 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. at the chapel prior to services. Interment will be in the Logandale Cemetery.
