Jeffrey Bateman Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Memorial Park South Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Shoulta officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2299 Rosebud Rd. SW Grayson, GA 30017. Ron Grizzle will officiate. Mark Green, Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, will provide music for both the service and graveside. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jeff was cherished among his many friends and family. He graduated from Parkview Highschool in Lilburn GA and went on to West Georgia College. He loved spending time at the beach, especially on the Fourth of July in Daytona Beach, FL. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and was a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs. Jeff embarked on a fulfilling career as a CDL driver and trainee in the trucking industry, which allowed him to travel extensively across the United States.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Patricia Dianne Bateman; his brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Suzanne Bateman; his nephew, Grady Bateman; and many other extended family members who loved him dearly.
2 Timothy 4:7 – I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Fighting the good fight of the faith is also about perseverance and continuing even when the road is hard.
