Jeffrey W. Birdsall

Jeffrey W. Birdsall, of Carriere, Mississippi, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on June 28, 1959, in Newburg, New York, he was a man whose life was marked by dedication, love, and a passion for the skies.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Kenneth Birdsall and Vera Ann Birdsall, as well as his brother, Michael Birdsall.

He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his wife of 37 memory-filled years, Darla Birdsall; two daughters, Amy Mailhes (Chris) and Holly Mailhes; four grandchildren, Kaylee Sanchez (Keith), Karlei Mailhes (Caleb), Carter Ordoyne, and Destin Mailhes; his great-grandson, Kyler Alsobrooks; two sisters, Teri Gadzinski (Matt) and Cindy Birdsall (Larry); and a host of extended family members and friends, all of whom he loved greatly.

Jeffrey served his country with honor in the United States Air Force before continuing his professional journey at Northrop Grumman, where his fascination with jets and aircraft found a home until his retirement. His colleagues knew him as a man of integrity and dedication, traits that he carried into every aspect of his life.

Jeffrey had an innate ability to make those around him feel valued and loved, and his presence was a source of comfort and joy to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
