Jeffrey Bloomer Obituary
Jeffrey Rex Bloomer, of Bloomingburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully Feb. 25, 2026.
Born July 11, 1951, in Columbus Ohio, he was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle.
Jeff loved the outdoors and enjoyed white water rafting, having been a guide for several years, known as "Jumpin Jeff" on the Ocoee River in Tennessee. He spent the last six years in Sheridan, WY which was a life long dream of his.
He Attended Kent State University and graduated Hocking Tech College in Ohio with two associate degrees.
He is survived by his children Joshua B Bloomer, Karleigh B Bloomer Brockman, and step son Robert T Davis; granddaughter, Kiara A Brockman, sister, Nicola S. Bloomer Eyre and brother-in-law, Edward E. Eyre, of Hillsboro Ohio, niece Dr. Erika Lynn Eyre Grafsky, and great nephews, Aiden, Asher and Ethan Grafsky of Blacksburg, Va.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Donna Marilyn Purcell Bloomer, maternal grandparents, Roy and Lilly Souther Purcell, paternal grandparents, Wayne and Gladys Evans Bloomer, and great nieces, Brittany Lyn Eyre and Adrienne Nicole Eyre.
