Jeffrey B. Clark, age 73, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, after a courageous 6-month battle with brain cancer. He was born in Lakewood and was a resident of both Lakewood and North Ridgeville. Jeff worked for 30 years at Hunt. In his “retirement,” he worked at American Greetings and for the Cleveland Guardians for 18 years, where he enjoyed working in the bullpen. He was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville. Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially making memories together in Disney World. Most of all, he loved being a girl dad and Poppa to his four grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Therese (Doyle), daughters Danielle (Jason) Smith, Cheryl (Eric) Lazar, and Megan (TJ) Steigerwald, granddaughters Maddy and Lilly Smith, grandsons Xavier and Desmond Lazar, brothers Andy (Bonnie) Clark, Mike (Debbie) Clark, Joe (Anna) Clark, Pat (Pamela) Clark, and sister-in-law Kathy Clark. Jeff was preceded in death by his brothers Timothy and John Clark, sister Lee Irion, and parents Andrew II and Alice Clark.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Avenue at Medina and Buckeye Hospice for their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, family members suggest honoring Jeff by attending a Guardians game or having a drink in Epcot!
