About
Jeffrey Cole Obituary
Jeff was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his children, Krista Cole, Ginger (Cole) Layton, and Caleb Cole; his cherished grandchildren, Ethan Layton and Lucas Layton; and his sisters, Sally Braasch, Gayna McGraw, and Ruth Richards. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will remember him fondly. He is predeceased by his parents, Herschel Cole Sr. and Pauline (Morrow) Cole and his brothers Herschel Cole Jr. and Dana Cole.
Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he worked for many years at the local paper mill in East Millinocket. He found great joy in camping, hunting, and fishing. He loved to attend music festivals. Above all else, he treasured the time he spent with family and friends. Jeff will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of the outdoors, and his deep commitment to those he loved.
Jeff will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
