Jeffrey L. Del Bene

Jeffrey Del Bene, 67, an area resident since 1997, passed away on December 6, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 21, 1958, in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony and Winifred (Merrill) Del Bene. Before working as a bus driver for Wappingers Central School District, Jeff was the Assistant Vice President of Operations for the Bank of New York, where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth.

On June 1, 1991 at the Church of Transfiguration in Tarrytown, Jeff married Beth (Mondelli) Del Bene and spent 26 years together until her passing in 2017.

Jeff is survived by his children; Robert Del Bene, Nicole Greene-Cramer and her husband Charles, Jessica Fitzjohn and her husband Cyrenius, and Michael Del Bene and his wife Neslihan Tabaru. He adored his grandsons, Miles Jeffrey & Ellis Arthur Fitzjohn, and Walter Benson Greene-Cramer. Jeffrey is also survived by his sister, LuAnn O'Connor and his brothers, John Del Bene and Anthony Del Bene, and was predeceased by his brother, Robert Del Bene.

Whether he was at family game night, bowling with friends or spending time with those he loved, you could always count on Jeff to make everyone in the room laugh. His impact on those around him will be cherished forever.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 9th from 4 - 7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, December 10th at 11 am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
