Jeffrey Hess Obituary
Jeffrey Hess, 67, of Matawan, passed away on March 12, 2026. Jeff was a fun-loving and warm husband, father, and grandfather who will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and generous heart. Born on March 11, 1959, Jeff grew up in Matawan and attended Monmouth University. He later relocated to Colts Neck, where he raised his family.
Jeff was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lisa. He is survived by his son, Andrew (Kate) Hess; his two daughters, Taylor Hess and her fiancé, Gene Ly, and Cassie Hess and her fiancé, Connor Mellas; and his four grandchildren, Rory, James, and Molly Hess, and Zoey Ly, whom he adored dearly.
Jeff could strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved to golf, watch old movies, cook dinner on the grill, and spend time with family.
A private service will be held with his family to honor his life.
