In Loving Memory of Jeff Horrocks
Jeff Horrocks, age 66, of Washington, Utah passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2025. His passing leaves an unimaginable hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
Jeff was born on March 31, 1959 in Salt Lake City, Utah. From the start, he was known for his big heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for his family.
The love of Jeff’s life was Peggy. They met as teenagers, married young and shared 48 years together - a true testament of their devotion to each other. They built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. He was the proud dad of Amber, Danielle and Katelan—the best dad ever—always steady, always there, and always putting his family first.
If you asked him what made him happiest, he’d tell you it was his family. Peggy, his daughters, his beloved sons-in-law and of course his grandchildren. They were his whole world, and he gave them everything he had—his time, his attention, and his heart. Whether he was at their games, helping with projects, taking them on worldwide adventures, or just spending time, he made every moment special.
Jeff worked hard his entire life to provide for his family, never asking for anything in return. He led by example—showing what it means to be dependable, kind, and full of quiet strength. He was the kind of man who made everyone around him feel safe and loved.
He is survived by his loving wife Peggy, who admired everything about him. His daughter’s Amber (Bil) Knapp, Danielle (Rusty) Lee, Katelan (Zach) Nelson and his grandchildren Kayden, Skyler, Bailey, Mason, Jakobe, Peyton, Avery and Tristin, who love him to the moon back and will miss his loud roaring bear hugs.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, at South Mountain Community Church, 3158 E 2000 S, St. George, UT 84790. Viewing at 9am with service to follow at 10am.
Jeff will be remembered for his big heart, his gentle spirit, and the love he gave so freely. His family will carry his example and love with them always!
