Funeral services for Jeffrey Gavin Landrum, age 60, of Picayune, MS, who passed
away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 3:00 at First
Southern Baptist Church of Pearlington.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at First Southern
Baptist Church of Pearlington.
Burial will be in Napoleon under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
A native of Picayune, MS, Jeff was well loved and extremely talented. From his
meticulously hand-carved turkey calls, highly precise machinist work, to beautifully
played guitar, he had an extraordinary talent for detail and artistry.
He loved turkey hunting, deer hunting, and fishing. He studied the Bible, researching
and seeking to understand the origins of the Greek and Hebrew words. He also
enjoyed going to concerts and dining out, especially if it involved a Sunday buffet at
Sherral's, a special treat from Betty K's, or a fabulous steak from Gallagher's. Family
gatherings won't be the same without him peeling shrimp for our gumbo dinners – a
small, simple act that captured his quiet way of caring.
While we miss him and his sweet grin more than words can say, we are comforted
knowing that Jeff is now in heaven, reunited with beloved family who went before him.
He is fully restored, free from pain and once again able to sing and talk about the things
he loved.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Glenn Landrum, and step-father, Jerry
Ray Booker.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sandra Bowering Booker; his sister, Tiffany
Beth Landrum; his daughters, Ashley (Ryan) Lorraine Ulrich and Maegan Marie (Perry)
Broussard; and his 2 grandchildren, Lucas and Avery Broussard.
