Jeffrey Lopez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beck Funeral Home in Austin/Round Rock on Jan. 28, 2026.
On Monday, January 5th, 2026, Jeffrey Daniel Lopez Jr, loving son, grandson, nephew, boyfriend, and friend passed away at the age of 27. Although he might not be here physically, we know he is still with us. We know he will always be with his loved ones, watching over them and supporting them just as he always has in life. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves memories no one can steal.

Jeffrey was born on August 26, 1998, in Los Angeles, CA, to Jeffrey and Maria Lopez. Jeffrey, from a very young age, was multi-gifted. He had a passion for art, movies, karate, MMA, music, cars, boxing, car restoration, and so much more. He took his passions and gave them his all. If he did something he always wanted to do it right. Jeffrey started karate at the age of 11, and reached 2nd degree black belt and eventually became a teacher at Karate Academy in Round Rock. He started boxing at the age of 13 at AOA boxing gym, although he was truly skilled, he boxed for the love of boxing, and never stopped showing up.

Jeffrey was a hard working person, working long 13 hour shifts and still always picked up overtime any time he could, to help out. When Jeffrey wasn't working you could find him working on his pride and joy, his red 1989 Pontiac Firebird, which he almost rebuilt completely, even rebuilding her engine. He also loved spending time with his beloved dogs, and family, talking to his girlfriend, or hanging out with his friends. He had so many people in his life but he not only managed to make time and space for every single one, he was also such an integral part of our family. Jeffrey was always there for everyone in his life, no matter what, he always offered genuine advice, a contagious laugh, and a smile warmer than the sun. Always trying to cheer everyone up, he could make anyone smile with a single look or joke.

His presence will always be an ever lasting gift, and every memory with him will be forever cherished. We are deeply saddened to lose him but we are grateful for all the time we had, he was a huge part of our lives and he will be dearly missed and remembered by his mother, father, grandparents, aunts and uncles, girlfriend, and his entire family and friends. I hope you know, we love you more than words can say. We will miss you more each day, but look back fondly on all our memories of you, until we meet again.

We have just recently learned of Jefferys passing. What a tragedy for this world to lose such a smart, caring, loving young man. He is one of the good ones. A friend anyone would have been proud to know. Such a shame there are not more people in this world like him. Our sincere condolence to his family and friends and yes, he will surely be missed.

Jeffrey...... Words can't express how much you will be missed. Thank you for being a shoulder or ear when I needed it. You were like a brother but more a best friend that never judged me. Wish I could have said good-bye but it's until we meet again. Still can't accept you're gone but in time. You left some good memories, and I will hold on to. Glad to have met you and to know a cool awesome person. RIH bro.
