I am so shocked by Jeff's passing, as I am sure everyone else.

I remember being a guest at many of the holiday picnics at Jeff and Marie's home in Barnegat with Jeff manning the grill making chicken skewers and grilled kielbasa. He really enjoyed that! He always seemed to be happy doing the most simple things in life, especially being connected to fishing and the sea.

When I saw him last, his first comment was to thank me for any baking or food that I made that I sent to him. He loved and appreciated that and I will remember his gentle manner and joy of having everyone over for family and friend gatherings. He will be missed by so many people.
