Jeffrey “Jeff” Dale McCutchen, age 58, passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Jeff was born on March 17, 1966, to Jimmy and Francess McCutchen. He and Stephanie Roberts married in 1998. He was a devoted husband and a loving father to his children, Chelsea and Alex Carson.
Throughout his life, Jeff made a significant impact both personally and professionally. After graduating from Levelland High School in 1984, he pursued higher education at South Plains College and Texas Tech University. He embarked on a career in farming in his early years and later retired as Deputy Director of South Plains TSA. Jeff was known for his strong work ethic, dedication to his family, and passion for maintaining an impeccable yard. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and hard work that will be forever cherished by his family and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Jane McCutchen and Norvin and Jewell Nessel. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; children, Chelsea Carson (Tonya) and Alex Carson; parents, Jim and Francess; brother, Scott McCutchen (Rene’); nephews Dustin McCutchen (Lindsey), Jay Dee McCutchen (Chelsea), and niece Morgan Andrade (Armando); grandchildren, Tiffany Chapman and Kailyn Perez, Raiden Carson; and one cherished great-granddaughter, Loralei Chapman.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Levelland, TX with Pastor Eric Saed officiating. Interment will follow at Levelland Cemetery.
