Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Meadows, passed away on April 9, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Born April 4, 1960, in Nashville, he was the son of the late J.L. Meadows and Dorothy June Adcock Meadows. Jeff was a graduate of Goodlettsville High School, where he excelled on the football field, at track meets, and the wrestling mat as part of the class of 1978.

Jeff was a man of many talents and passions. He found joy in the great outdoors through hunting dove, whitetail deer, and turkey, as well as fishing. A familiar face at Moss Wright Park, Jeff dedicated over twenty years to coaching baseball, positively impacting the lives of countless young players.

Described as very involved with his family, dependable, loyal, and possessing a great sense of humor, Jeff's presence brought light to those around him. His ability to build or fix anything earned him admiration from friends and family alike.

Jeff will be dearly missed by his surviving family members: his loving wife of over 40 years, Dana Meadows; devoted sons Alex (Courtney) Meadows and Clint (Lauren) Meadows; cherished grandchildren Forrest Lynn Meadows and Sawyer Clement Meadows; brother Marty (Melissa) Meadows; mother-in-law Forrest Ann Clements; and several nieces and nephews. Though he may have prematurely departed this world, Jeff's spirit lives on through those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visitations will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Goodlettsville on Saturday, April 13th (from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM) and Sunday, April 14th (from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM).  The celebration of Jeff's life will take place at 11am at Long Hollow Church in Hendersonville on April 15, 2024.  Burial will follow at Beech Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Marty Meadows, Bruce Clements, Drew Sowell, Eric Meadows, J.C. Oakley, and Kenny Thomas.
In honoring Jeff's memory, let us hold dear the moments shared with him and continue to live our lives with the same passion and dedication that he exemplified. Rest in peace, Jeff Meadows.
