Jeffrey Wayne Milbrandt was born on May 3, 1962, in Rochester, MN, and passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2026. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He had the best sense of humor and a huge heart. Jeff was the ultimate competitor-bags, darts, cards, bowling, and foosball, to name a few. He was a big kid at heart, always ready to play, and he had a laugh and a smile that could fill the room. Jeff generously donated organs for both recipients and medical research.

Jeff attended John Marshall High School and was in the graduating class of 1980. He then attended the vocational-technical program at RCTC. Jeff met the love of his life, Lisa on Christmas day in 1985. They moved to Texas, where they married and had their first son, Eric. They later moved back to Rochester and had their second son, Michael. Jeff worked at Culligan for 20 years until he started his own successful plumbing, heating, HVAC, and renovation business, Midwest Water Conditioning, with his business partner, Mark Szuberski.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Lisa Milbrandt, of Rochester, MN; his sister, Lynn (Scott) Denker, of New Richmond, WI; his son Eric (Cassandra) Milbrandt and their children, Leo and Luna, of Inver Grove Heights, MN; his son Michael (Erica) Milbrandt and their son, Connor, of Rochester, MN; and Sam (Sara) Nierman and their children, Carlee and Henry, of Rochester, MN as well as several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Milbrandt; his father, Fred Milbrandt Jr, his brother, Mark Milbrandt; and his sister, Lori Beilke.

There will be a celebration of life at 10:00 AM Saturday January 31, 2026 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, MN 55901. No visitation is planned. Lunch will be served directly after the service at Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre.
