Jeffrey Moats Obituary
He was born on January 31, 1961, and was a son of the late Frank and Bessie (Simmons) Moats.
Jeff was the owner of Blue Ridge Transmission, and had worked on transmissions for over 50 years. He loved to hunt, go to car shows and work on his street rods. Jeff had a green thumb when it came to his tomato plants. Jeff was a people person with a great sense of humor that never met a stranger.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia Puffenbarger; nieces, Pam Cline & husband Rod and Jennifer Puffenbarger & partner Tinker; nephew, Randy Moats & wife Tracy.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Moats.
A service celebrating Jeffrey's life will be held on December 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service in Bridgewater with Rev. Glenn Welsh officiating.

Muchas condolencias para la Familia de Jeff, Resignación y fortaleza. Nos conocimos desde hace 3 años en su taller porque necesitaba reparar una transmisión y El era el indicado en el área, buena atención, muy genial, servicio garantizado en sus trabajos siempre amigable a pesar que Yo no lo conocía, una vez me recomendó un lugar para un trabajo que necesitaba de programación de computadoras automotrices, siempre hablábamos de los Car Shows, pero sobre todo de lo malo que eran las últimas generaciones de transmisiones exepto de la que tenía en su Silverado. Hasta pronto amigo nos vas hacer falta. Descanza en Paz, flores sobre la tumba.
