Jeffrey Andrew Monier

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Andrew Monier, age 44, of Marcus, Iowa, after a long battle with Juvenile Diabetes, on November 2, 2025.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th, from 5 to 7 PM at Jurrens Funeral Home in Sibley.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Jurrens Funeral Home in Sibley, with Pastor Steve Swenson officiating.

Jeffrey Andrew Monier was born on October 13, 1981, in Sibley to the late Kelly Monier and Lori. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, humor, and spirit touched everyone who knew him.

Jeffrey had a passion for drawing, construction, animals, and his family. He had a gift for making people laugh and smile, and always showed up when someone needed a hand. He loved watching sports and cheering on the Packers and the Texas Longhorns.

At the young age of 9, Jeffrey was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and struggled with it his whole life.

He is survived by his mother, Lori (Jim) Rassel of Marcus; son, Trystan of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Sarah (Tracy) Renner of Huron, SD; brother, Cole Monier (special friend, Kaitlyn) of Ashton, IA; maternal grandmother, Catherine Kellen of Sibley, IA; nephews, Hunter, Ethan, Matthew, and Michael of Huron, SD and Tucker and Connor of Ashton, IA; many aunts and uncles; cousins; and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kelly Monier; grandparents, Curly and Phyllis Monier, and Jack Kellen; and uncle, Jeff Kellen.
