Jeffrey Devone Morris, of Amherst, Va passed away on October 20,2024. He was the son of the late Jeffrey Ward Morris and Joyce F. Morris-Sousi.
Jeffrey was born on May 17, 1976 in Lynchburg, VA. He graduated from Brookville High School. He was a member of St Paul Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother Daniel W. Morris and his parental grandparents John Morris and Geraldine Morris of Amherst, VA and his Maternal grandparents Robert and Annie Francis Jones of Amherst, Va.
Jeff loved creating items turning trash into treasure or for anyone special occasions he was an amazing cook and baker known for his cookies. He loved meeting new people, bringing smiles and laughter he could light up any room he walked into with witty and clever comebacks.
He lives to cherish his memory of his brother Michael Morris and his wife Michelle Morris of Waynesboro, Va; sister, Heather Morris of Lynchburg, VA; and his beloved sisters, Jessica Smith of Forest, VA and Cameshia Morris of Lynchburg, Va along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, cousins and to many friends to name.
His service will be on November 1st, 2024, at 2pm and visitation with the family will be held after his service at Tharp Funeral Home at 220 Breezewood Dr Lynchburg, VA 24502.
Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
