Our beloved Jeffrey "Jeff" Allan Mosier died peacefully at the Hanson Hospice House in Stevensville, MI on Saturday, November 9th, at the age of 52.
Jeff is loved and missed by his caretaker for the last 18 years and father, Robert Mosier of Buchanan, MI; his brother, JT (Dee) Mosier; sisters, Jennifer (Scott) Dickson, and Jackie (Anthony Head) Mosier all of Niles, MI; aunt, Deb Mosier; uncle, Tim (Stacye) Mosier; nieces and nephews, Jodi (Ryan) Koziel, Jade Mosier, Jimi (Natalie) Mosier, Justin Taylor, Christian Taylor, and Braelyn Dickson; daughter, Stephanie Mosier; grandson, Evan Darnell; granddaughter, Payton Brodzinski; and many cousins and friends that were considered family.
Jeff was proceeded in death by his mother, Rosemary Mosier, and grandparents, Thomas and Helen Mosier.
Jeff left an impression on everyone he met. He never had an easy life. He was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer at 18 years old and was given 10 years to live but showing the true fighter he was, made it 34 years. He always made the best of his disabilities and lived life to the fullest. His hot temper, quick wit, and ability to come up with believable, very untrue stories was a fun past time for everyone around him. He loved his winters in Mexico with his grandparents and his summers on Bachelor Island with his parents, siblings, nieces and nephews and all their friends that were around.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2 - 5 pm at Hoven Funeral Home, 414 E. Front St., Buchanan, MI 49107. As we remember Jeff, we celebrate his life, his stories, and the love he generously shared with all of us. We invite you to leave your memories and upload photos of Jeff on his memorial page, as we keep his spirit alive in our hearts and minds.
