Nancy was born on May 7, 1940, to Anton and Helen Carson in Michigan City, IN. She graduated from New Buffalo High School. On November 1, 1957, she married Dewey Bicard at a ceremony in Three Oaks, MI.

Professionally, Nancy worked for several years at Sextons Furniture & Appliance Store and S & S Supermarket. She later served for many years as the manager of Mill Pond Apartments, a role she truly enjoyed. While she was dedicated in her professional life, Nancy's greatest devotion was to her faith.

Nancy was a longtime and faithful member of Buchanan Chirstian Church, where she lived out her faith as a true servant of God. Her love for the Lord was evident in the many ways she served others. She volunteered at church camp during the summers, was actively involved in several church groups, and faithfully visited friends and members of the congregation who were unable to attend services, often bringing them communion and companionship.

Nancy found great joy in helping others and staying busy in service to the Lord. She especially cherished volunteering at Woodburn Christian Children's Home near Fort Wayne, IN., a place she returned to frequently over the years to give her time and care to those in need.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Randy (Kim) Bicard of Buchanan and Rod (Angie) Bicard of Decatur, AL; grandchildren, David (Yanni) Bicard, Nicole Bicard, Kaitlyn (Matt) Waltz, Bobbie Billingsley, Kasey Kelley, Tyler (Estonia) Rivers, Peighton Bicard and dear friend, Rhonda Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Helen Carson; husband of 49 years, Dewey Bicard; daughters, Renee Bicard and Rhonda (Bicard) Billingsley; granddaughter, Heather and brothers, Tony and Richard Carson.

Earlier today

Nancy was such a sweet Christian lady. It was my pleasure to work with her in the kitchen during Luvabilty Ministries camp for developmentally challenged adults. She was such a blessing.
