Jeffrey Nerad

JEFFREY NERAD, age 77. Beloved husband of 54 years to Michelle (nee Mazur); dearest father of Jennifer Fornatoro (Darryl) and Darren Nerad; loving grandfather of Dominic, Nathan and Noelle; dear brother of Jerry Nerad (Jackie, deceased) and Elaine Wiebley (Denny); beloved son of the late James and Eleanor Nerad; fond brother-in-law of Marybeth Boylan (Michael), Michael Mazur (Terry), and Martha Doyle (Frank); uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Jeff was a life-long resident of Solon and a graduate of Orange High School. He married the love of his life, Michelle, in 1971. They had two children, Jennifer and Darren. He began his career as a machinist which grew into sales, real estate and home improvement. His passion was racing and classic cars. He would drag race a red 1967 Mustang at Thompson Race Way where he won many trophies. He was a member of the Rock'n'Roll Street Machines. Jeff was also an avid bowler. He carried a high average and participated in the Slovak bowling tournament for many years. He enjoyed watching the Browns and the Cavs. Jeff and Michelle loved traveling to Las Vegas and enjoying many cruises together. Jeff loved his cars, bowling, music and traveling but most of all, he loved his family.

A funeral service for Jeff will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025 at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 33650 SOLON ROAD, SOLON. The family will receive friends AT THE FUNERAL HOME MONDAY FROM 11 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE AT 3:00 P.M.
