Lancaster- Jeffrey E. Nye, 64, was born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1960 and passed away surrounded by his family at Fairfield Medical Center on Monday, July 29th, 2024.
Jeff was a hardworking and dedicated provider who loved his family and would lend a helping hand to others without question.
After high school, he was employed by Anchor Hocking plant 2 as an operator in the furnace room. For 40 years Jeff was a self employed truck driver. You always knew it was Jeff coming down the road when you saw the American Flag he had as a grill cover on his 1995 Peterbilt
In his younger years, Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, dirt bike riding and playing cards.
Jeff leaves behind his dedicated wife of 42 years, Kim (Fagan) Nye, daughter, Kelsy Nye, son, Klay Nye, grandson, Kole Nye, brother Ted Nye, sister, Tina Nye, nieces, cousins, mother in law Julia Fagan, sister in law Kelley Fagan and many friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents James and Barbara Nye, his sister Julie Davis, brother Tom Nye and brother in law Rick Davis
A celebration of life for Jeff will be held on September 8th, 2024 from 1p-4p at the Lancaster Moose Lodge 955, Sugar Grove Rd, Lancaster OH.
