Jeffrey Madison Painter

Jeffrey Madison Painter, of Ellijay, passed away on May 21, 2024, at Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton.
Jeffrey Madison Painter, cherished younger brother, father and son, left this world unexpectedly on May 21, 2024. Born October 22, 1974, he brought joy and laughter into the lives of all who knew him. From his earliest days, Jeffrey was a beacon of energy and enthusiasm. His mischievous smile could light up a room, and his infectious laughter and spontaneous comments were a source of endless happiness for his family and friends.
Growing up, Jeffrey was a whirlwind of activity, always eager to explore and learn. He approached life with a fearless spirit, diving headfirst into new adventures and experiences. Whether he was painting a masterpiece, cooking an exquisite dinner, or simply driving his jeep with his dogs on the dirt roads thru Painter Gap, Jeffrey embraced each moment with boundless passion and curiosity.
Jeffrey had a heart of gold and a generous soul. He had a knack for making others feel valued and appreciated, and his compassion knew no bounds. He was quick to offer a helping hand and a listening ear while offering a four star meal. Jeffrey's kindness touched the lives of countless people.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Madison Painter; brother, Timothy Painter; uncle, Lamar Painter; aunt, Geraldine Roberts; sister-in-law, Andrea McArthur; and niece, Rae Mc Arthur.
He is survived by his loving mother, Geneva Painter; his partner, Laurie Tidman of Woodstock, GA; son, Daniel Blake Kirk of Grenville, SC; son, Gaige Gagnon; brother, Dana Mc Arthur and nephew Davis Mc Arthur of Woodstock, GA; brother, Benjamin H. Painter and wife, Kiyoko Painter and nephew, Jackson Painter of Pacifca, CA.
In his short time with us, Jeffrey Painter touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on the world. Though we mourn his passing, we take solace in the memories we shared and the love that will forever endure.
The Celebration of Life for Jeffrey Madison Painter and Madison Horace Painter will be held at 11:00 a.m., June 8, 2024, at Gates Chapel Church. We will gather to honor father and son and share stories of the joy and laughter they brought into our lives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gate's Chapel Cemetery Fund in Jeffrey's memory, continuing his legacy of compassion and kindness.
Though Jeffrey Painter may no longer walk beside us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, forever young and forever remembered.
