William J. Painter, 23, formerly of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on January 26, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia. He was born on March 7, 2002, the son of Brenda Painter and the late William D. Painter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his loving grandparents and caregivers, Leonard Paul Painter Jr, and Sherry Burchett Painter, along with other relatives.
He was disabled most of his lifetime and was a member of Victory Temple Church of God.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda Faye Painter Maddox; his brothers, Dakota Allen Painter and Christian I. Painter; his aunt, Shelia Burchett Daniel, and her husband, Johnny. along with other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Victory Temple Church of God, with Pastor Jeff Dutton officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
