Jeffrey J. Person, a remarkable man of many talents, passed on October 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service. Born in Leominster, Massachusetts, on July 18, 1952, Jeffrey was a beloved figure in his community of Westminster, Massachusetts, where he resided for 50 years. Known for his infectious laughter, ambitious spirit, and unswerving commitment to providing a beautiful home for his family, Jeffrey was a beacon of light to all who knew him.
A smart and reliable individual, Jeffrey spent 30 years as a Water Treatment Operator at the Westborough Wastewater Treatment Plant, demonstrating his talents for hard work and dedication. His previous employment at Borden Chemical showcased his adaptability and resilience. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeffrey was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid gardener, carpenter, and a fan of military air shows. He also loved driving around town in his 1972 Mustang Mach 1. His love for do-it-yourself projects and riding around his property in his golf cart were as legendary as his spaghetti and homemade meatballs. A fan of The Beatles, the New York Football Giants, Boston Celtics, and Red Sox, Jeffrey’s passions were as diverse as they were engaging. His trips to Virginia Beach and Oceana NAS to watch and hear the fighter jets taking off were some of his most cherished moments.
Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Bonnie, and their three children, John (Francesca), Kris (Christina), and Lindsay (Jeff). He was also a doting grandfather to six grandchildren (Taylor and Riley Person, Kinsey and Wesley Person, and Ellie and Emily Morgan). His kind and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by his sister, Mary Jane Person of Worcester, MA, and his brother, James Person of Templeton, MA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Yvonne Person.
The loss of Jeffrey is deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. His life was a testament to the power of hard work, love, and dedication. His memory will be kept alive in the hearts and minds of his family, friends, and community.
