Obituary For Jeffrey "Jeff" Gerard Quist

Jeffrey (Jeff) Gerard Quist, age 60, of McBain, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025. He was born March 19, 1965, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late Jay and Wilma (Lucas) Quist. He was married to the love of his life, Natalie Renee (Lieverdink) Quist on April 10, 1987, in Moline, MI. They resided first in Wayland, MI, where they welcomed their beloved sons, Kyle Quist and Kory Quist. Later, Jeff and Natalie moved their family to McBain, MI, where Jeff went on to start his own successful business in construction, remodeling, and concrete.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and particularly enjoyed hunting, camping, and riding quads and side by sides on the area trails. In all of these activities, he most enjoyed doing them with his family. When not participating in these activities, he could often be found tinkering with projects around his home. Jeff was beloved by his family, including his many nephews and nieces whom he delighted in spending time with. Jeff was particularly gifted in making everyone around him feel seen, loved, and appreciated. He will be dearly missed by all.

Jeffrey Quist was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Quist; his parents, Jay and Wilma Quist; his father and mother-in-law, Dirk and Idamae Lieverdink; and his brother-in-law, William Bileth.

Jeff is lovingly remembered by his wife, Natalie (Lieverdink) Quist; his son, Kory Quist; his siblings, Judy (Bill) Rozeveld, Jack Quist, Joan Bileth, Joel (Renee) Quist; and his in-laws, Derek Lieverdink, Tim (Hilary) Lieverdink, and Michele (Doug Watson) Bosscher.
