Jeffrey S. Redmer Sr. 76 of Cleveland, TN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, peacefully in his sleep with his companion and best friend Jan Goins by his side.
He is preceded in death by his father Louis Redmer and his mother Ruth Redmer. Jeff Sr. was a father, grandfather, great grandfather, and amazing friend. Jeff Sr. always lived life to the fullest and created amazing, memorable moments. Jeff was born on November 3, 1949 in Newark, New Jersey. He moved to Cleveland, TN in 2013 where he met his companion and best friend of 14 years, Jan Goins. Jan loves Jeff and will miss him dearly.
He is survived by companion Jan Goins, one daughter Gerri Redmer of Wisconsin, his son Jeffrey Redmer Jr. (wife Crystal) of Georgetown, TN, his two bonus sons Kevin and Ricky Smith of Cleveland, TN, one brother Robert (Ching) Redmer of California, one sister Linda (Steve) Marciante of New Jersey, fourteen grandchildren Robert (Heather) Devan, Kanda (Jim) West, Kristin, Rob Haney, Savannah, Jacob, Danica Redmer, Brooke, Ricky 3rd, Abbigail, Korrine, Brantley, Briella Smith, and William Chapman. Five great-grandchildren Paisley, Hadleigh Johnston, Harland West, Houston, and Oliver Smith. One in-law Riley Renee Shook. Jeff was a truck driver for 50 years and loved traveling. He will be missed by so many.
Visitation service will be Saturday, March 28, from 10 AM - 2 PM at Companion Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at McDonald Eastview Cemetery at 2 PM.
Pallbearers will be Rob Haney, Rick Smith, Charlie Shook, Jim West, and Bo Allison.
