Jeffrey Leo Richards, 56, of Green Bay, passed away on May 20, 2025. He was born on November 9, 1968 to Jack Richards Sr. and Carolyn (Emmons) Mumby in Gwinn, Michigan.
Jeff graduated from Oscoda High School in 1987. After graduation, Jeff joined the Army. He was assigned to Germany for two years and then deployed to Desert Storm in Kuwait. He was proud to serve his country.
After the Army, Jeff settled down in Green Bay, WI. He worked at Morning Glory Dairy for two decades. Jeff retired after being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and other health issues.
Jeff found joy in spending time with family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Known for his kindness and humor, Jeff left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Carolyn Mumby; his father, Jack Richards Sr.; his daughter, Joanna (Jon) Ericksen; grandchildren: Aria and Declan; brothers: Jack Richards Jr. and James Richards; aunts: Sandra Lapp and Maria (Roy) Orr; uncle, Clark (Linda) Emmons; and his niece, Denise Schmeck.
Jeff is greatly missed, but his family has peace knowing that he’s with Jesus and all of heaven rejoiced at his homecoming. For Jeff’s family, this isn’t goodbye — it’s see you later.
