Jeffrey L. Robinson, a native of Elmira, NY and resident of Wellsburg, NY passed away on August 28, 2025. He was 64 years old. He worked at Trayer Products for 42 years, starting out as shipping gauge inspector and working his way to become a quality facilitator. He enjoyed NASCAR, and was a Buffalo Bills fan when he wasn’t rooting for the Miami Dolphins. Known by some as “The Lawnmower Man” he loved tinkering with lawnmowers, and often preferred driving one rather than a car. Jeffrey was also a life member of the Wellsburg Fire Department, having served since 1977. During his many decades there he served as Station Captain, and received the award of Firefighter of the Year.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother Jean Marie (Cox) Robinson, and his wives Bonnie Robinson and Donna (Vanderpool) Robinson.
He is survived by: his children – Nicole Robinson and partner Alex Cleary, and Justin L. Robinson and wife Jessica; his step-daughters Michelle Allen and Jessica Glosenger; his grandchildren – Calvin Bailey, Ahlias Cleary, Miles Violet, Nelayna Robinson, Arya Robinson, William Robinson, and Erica Glosenger; his father Stephen L. Robinson; his brothers – Michael Robinson, Dave Robinson and wife Anne, and his twin James “Jim” Robinson; and several nieces and nephews including James Robinson, Jason Robinson, Jeremiah Robinson, Alayna Robinson and Samantha Robinson.
Friends and Family are invited to Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue in Elmira for a visitation on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, when the Wellsburg Fire Department will honor his service with a walkthrough, followed immediately by his memorial service, to be led by Rev. Lynda Myers.
