Jeffrey Rosenblum Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 17, 2024.
Jeffrey David Rosenblum, 63, of New Rochelle, NY, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, due to end-stage renal disease. Born on July 11, 1961, to Ruth and Lawrence Rosenblum, Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, brother, father-in-law, and grandfather.
Jeffrey had a great love for watching horse racing, enjoyed frequent visits to the OTB, and having fun at the casino. His enthusiasm extended to dining out, attending Hackley reunions, and following sports. Notably, Jeffrey aka "Rosy" brought the class of 1979 together for their 25th reunion; he moved heaven and earth to do so and as a class, they are closer today for his efforts. He will be dearly missed at all future Hackley reunions.
Jeff was known for his larger-than-life personality, good sense of humor, and his unique ability to give everyone a nickname. He remained forever young at heart.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Magnolia Rosenblum; his daughters, Rena Loughlin and Lisa Rosenblum; and his first grandchild, Olivia Ruth Loughlin. He was also the father-in-law of the late Michael Loughlin. Jeffrey's family, along with his friends, will deeply miss his generous spirit and infectious joy. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Rosenblum, and his son-in-law, Michael Loughlin.
A memorial service celebrating Jeffrey's life will be held on Thursday, September 19th at 11am at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY.
Jeffrey David Rosenblum will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
