Jeffrey H. Skinner of Pine City passed on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at his home with his Elizabeth and dog Roscoe by his side at the age of 59.

Jeff was born Saturday, October 17, 1964 in Saint Paul, Minnesota the oldest son to Neal and Claudia (Chisholm) Skinner. He was raised and attended school in North St. Paul, graduating in 1982. He served in the United States Army from 1982 to 1985 with tours of duty included. Later Jeff worked as a high-rise window cleaner, allowing him spectacular views of the twin cities.  

In October 1998, he met the love of his life Elizabeth. In 2000, they moved to Pine City and married in 2002. Jeff worked as a handy man for many years throughout Pine City area. Later he was employed for 10 years as the lead -maintenance man for Westchester Apartments in Pine City, there he was loved by many residents.  

Jeff was a good man and will be greatly missed. As a serious football fan he often was told he should have been a referee. He also enjoyed fishing and was only interested in catching the "big ones". He loved his rock music and rocking in his favorite recliner. 

Jeff is survived by Elizabeth of Pine City; children Joshua Skinner, Jacob Skinner, Devin Marshall; father Neal Skinner (Millie Auksel); sisters Pam (Adam) Carpenter, Jeni (Jason) Deshaw; brother Joe Skinner; grandchildren Emma, Eli, Zachary; nephews; dog Roscoe; many other relatives and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandmother Virginia Chisholm; mother Claudia Skinner.

Deacon Gene Biever will officiate at Jeff's funeral services: 2 PM; Wednesday, April 3, 2024 with a time of visitation and reviewal one hour prior to the service all at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City. Immediately following the service the interment will take place in Birchwood Cemetery and lunch at the Heath-Perkins American Legion Post #51 all in Pine City.
