Jeffrey Edward Snead

Jeffrey Edward Snead passed away unexpectedly on February 5th, 2026. He was born in Birmingham Alabama on September 10th 1969. Most of his family resides in Cedartown Georgia, and that is where he spent a lot of time and many summers. He and his mother eventually ended up in Wichita, Kansas in 1977. Jeff was known for his light hearted and easygoing personality. He loved being around kids and animals, especially dogs. He was well known in the medical community. He earned his certification as a surgical tech when he was 18 and spent many years in this role before moving on to be a product rep in surgery. He was very good at his job and furthered his career with training to operate the robots that assist surgeons with total joint replacements. Jeff was well known and loved throughout many surgical facilities. Jeff adored his children and bragged about them at every opportunity. He would say that they were the best things in his life. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and uncle. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Short, his wife, Carmen Snead, his children, Morgan Snead, Jacob Snead, Madison Snead, Stella Snead and stepson Carter Redfearn. The family will receive all friends who wish to pay their respects on Monday at 5:00 pm February 9th, 2026 at Affinity All Faiths Mortuary, 2850 S Seneca, Wichita, KS 67217.
