Jeffrey Gordon Sutler

Jeffery Gordon Sutler, age 50, of Charleston, WV, passed away on February 16, 2025. Jeffrey will be remembered by his family and friends for his quick wit and outgoing personality.
Jeffrey dedicated many years of his life to work as a self-employed contractor, police officer, and salesman. He had many talents, including being able to talk to everyone and anyone, making sure everyone felt comfortable. Jeffrey was full of life and lived every moment to the fullest. He never met a stranger. Jeffery was known for his warm and welcoming personality, anyone who was lucky to have met him knew how contagious his personality was.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Sutler, grandparents Robert and Janie Sutler and maternal grandparents Morrison and Glenna Weaver.
Jeffery is survived by his mother, Evelyn Sutler, and his children, Jarod Sutler, Hunter Sutler, and Mackenzie (Hunter) Woodard. He leaves behind a legacy of love with two grandchildren, Amelia and Archer. Jeffrey will be missed by his siblings, Debi Sutler (Robert) of Charleston, Diana Sutler of Florida, Denise Sutler of Charleston, Devi (Harl) Matthews of Milton, Karen Shaw of Florida, Deirdre (Paul) Eyster of North Carolina, and Courtney (John) Charleston. Jeffrey also leaves behind 15 nieces and nephews, and multiple uncles, aunts and cousins whom he cared deeply for.
A service to celebrate Jeffrey's life will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home, 1118 Virginia Street East, Charleston WV, with Pastor Jack Tucker officiating.
