Jeffrey Keith Tatum, age 62, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 30, 1963, to Keith Tatum and Marian (Pond) Matthews, and lived a life dedicated to his family, work, and community.
For 26 years, Jeff served as a Road Commissioner for the Selmore Road District, contributing to the betterment of his local roads and infrastructure. In addition, he was a professional truck driver for AWG for 30 years, showcasing his dedication and hard work ethic through many long hours on the road. His reliability and friendly demeanor made him a cherished member of the community. Jeff was also a devoted member of Selmore Baptist Church, where he found support and fellowship among friends and fellow congregants.
One of Jeff's favorite pastimes was spending time at the farm with his beloved dog, “Sam.” These moments in nature provided him solace and joy, reflecting the simple pleasures that brought happiness to his life.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Lisa; his stepfather, Roland Matthews; his children, Lacey (Richard) Stacey, Justin Tatum and Mollie; his siblings, Steve Tatum and Linda, Kelly (Laurel) Usher, and Jill (Randy) Johns; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Cameron and Lilly, Kensley, Karlee, Roper, Remi, and J.W., along with many more nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith Tatum and Marian Matthews; and his grandparents, Neal and Zoe Tatum, Joe Tatum and Leonard and Mildred Pond.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, under the direction of Pastor Hosea Bilyeu. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Jeff's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
