LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Jeffrey Theodore Thress, age 75, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at his home. He was born May 10, 1950, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, a son of the late Herman "Bill" Thress and Celia Ann Moury Thress Speelman and was the loving husband of JoDene Alexander Thress. Jeffrey retired as a salesman for a construction equipment manufacturer, a job he loved. He was a gourmet cook, an avid golfer and was an old car enthusiast. He served our country in the US Army in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic. Jeffrey was a free Mason and loved his Harley Davidson.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 43 years, JoDene Thress; two sons, Jason Thress (Lori) and Jeffrey A. Thress (Keely); three daughters, Jackie Davis (Karl), Brittany Thress Holloway (Colby) and Kristin Jacobs (Adam); nine grandchildren, Madilyn, Averie, Landri, Sophia, Nora, Kennedy, Piper, Hayden and Theodore "Niner"; a brother, Faron Speelman and his loving dog, Gus.

The family will hold a private service for Jeffrey at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.
