Thomas Eugene Thress, 69, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away peacefully on November, 6, 2021. He was born on March 7th, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio. He was raised in Columbus, Ohio where he graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1970. He served the Hilliard community as a police officer and detective from 1977-2007. Tom was an avid fisherman, golfer, hiker, music lover, drummer, and prankster. Tom will be missed tremendously.
Tom is survived by his wife Linda Thress; his children Casey (Katie) Thress, Lynn (Tom) Haines; step children Nieca (T.J.) Casa, Natalie (Tom) Romans, Nicole (Scott) Knick; grandchildren Stella Thress, Carson Thress, Zachary Haines, Nora Haines, Joey Casa, Nate Casa, Jake Schoener, Carter Romans, Jackie Romans, Parker Knick, and Benny Knick. Also survived by his sister Cindy (Paul) Kalb, and brothers Andy Thress, and Dan (Annie) Thress and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Margaret Thress, and step-son Beau Schoener.
Arrangements will be made at a later time to celebrate Tom's life.

So sorry to hear of Toms passing. We were friends in High School as football teammates. A few years later we ran into each other in court when I was a Columbus police officer. He had such a great sense of humor and it was great seeing him and catching up with him. Prayers to the family and friends
