Jacqueline and Family, There are no words to express how sorry I was to hear of Jeff's passing. All of us here at the FTDNA Wright Surname Project treasured his early active participation in setting up and managing our budding Y-DNA project and genetic genealogy research. It would not have blossomed into the huge project it is now without his generous contributions of time and effort. The last few years we have all prayed that his health would hold out, but....... I last wrote him an e-mail in mid January and never heard back, so feared the worst had happened. I lost my wife 9 years ago so I know how terrible this must be for you and the family. If there is anything we can do to help you finish anything that Jeff wanted to complete with his genealogy and could not, just call me (979) 574 5407 and I will see it done. In the mean time, I am holding you in my prayers.

We followed the Wrights from Kentucky to Titusville, Fl. His Dad got my Dad a job at the Space Center. I worked with him at McDonnell Douglas and he always had that big smile on his face. He was a great person.

Jeff told me that he was the luckiest guy ever: he married Jacqueline, the love of his life, and had a family he adored which he was proud of and felt was his greatest accomplishment. That was at the GHS Class Reunion in 2015.
Jeff was an angel right here, in the flesh. One golden heart, kind and true. Good luck on your journey, old friend you will be missed.

My heart goes out to Jeff's family - what a huge loss. Jeff and I had been friends since kindergarten. I got to introduce him to my daughter and granddaughter just last year (he and my granddaughter both shared the St. Pat's Day birthday). Jeff always had a smile on his face and nice to everyone. I can't think of anyone who didn't like him. He was a great friend to me during our school years and kind of looked out for me like a big brother. He will definitely be in my heart and be missed.
