Jeni Clair Rose Koneczny, 42, of Houston, Minnesota, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, August 11, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family. Jeni was born on September 30, 1982 in Hastings, Minnesota.
She grew up on the East side of St. Paul and attended Hayden Heights Elementary School and Johnson High School , graduating in 2001. While attending TTI in St. Paul, Jeni received training to further her education. She worked at many job training sites, a golf course, nursing home, recycling center and many more. Through her day program at TSE in St.Paul, Jeni worked in housekeeping at the Best Western Hotel in White Bear Lake and through another day program, she worked at Taco Bell in Forest Lake.
Jeni’s favorite activities and interests include; bowling, dancing with her friends and family to The Rockin’ Hollywoods, going out to eat with her special support people, shopping with her favorite aunt at thrift stores, and planning hotel vacations (especially with a hot tub).
Jeni loved and was loved by her parents, Glen and Cindi, siblings, Hannah and Seth, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She especially adored her nieces and nephews.
She will always be remembered for saying, “I love you more!”
Because of Jeni‘s love for animals, (especially her cat, Pooh Bear), memorials may be sent to Animal Sanctuary of St. Croix Valley, PO Box 847, Stillwater, MN 55082, or the charity of your choice.
Condolences for Cindi may be sent through Hoff Funeral Home in Houston, Minnesota.
There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Jeni’s life.
